Outfit to remain social organisation for betterment of Jharkhand

Durga Soren Sena (DSS) is aiming to start a new revolution in the State. Stating this daughter of DSS Chief and Jama MLA Sita Soren, Jayshree Soren said in a press conference on Wednesday that her father former MLA, Late Durga Soren had dreamed of a developed and prosperous Jharkhand along with her Baba Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Supremo and Rajya Sabha MP, Shibu Soren. Durga had sacrificed his childhood and youth to fulfill this dream.

In her address Jayshree said that due to the struggles, a separate Jharkhand was obtained, but still a better, golden Jharkhand is yet to be formed. She said that the initiative will be taken to fulfil this through social organizations like DSS. She categorically denied the political participation of Durga Soren Sena in the Assembly elections to be held in 2024 or other political events.

During the conference, Jayshree also said that at present itself the decision will be taken on the organisation expansion of Durga Soren Sena and announcement of different committees.

Some days earlier Sita Soren went Raj Bhawan to meet Jharkhand Governor, Ramesh Bais and she submitted a memorandum regarding some of her grievances on which she has been raising her voice since formation of the present JMM, Congress coalition Government in the State led by Chief Minister, Hemant Soren.

Jayshree said that CM, Hemant Soren is doing his job well but the team around him is messed up. “They are trying to malign the image of the Government. The loot of water, forest and land continues. The Government will have to test the reality of the corrupt officials and team around it and take appropriate steps. Due to the people present around the Government, the State of Jharkhand is not able to do well on the issue of poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, health. For 20 years, Jharkhand is still a leader among the laggy states on these subjects,” she added.

“This state ranks 19th out of 28 states in drinking water facilities. Forests have disappeared from 32 lakh decimals of land. Land mafia dominates. More than half of the people are malnourished. This state is at 21st place out of 28 in education. Durga Soren Sena will also play a role in changing this situation,” said Jayshree.

On Lobin Hembrum taking a different stand on the Khatiani and planning policy of 1932 from the Government, Jayashree said that if the State is not being harmed by his steps, then all is well. If there is any benefit from the issue raised by him then it is welcome, she added.
