On the occasion of International Adivasi Day, leader of the opposition and former Chief Minister Arjun Munda congratulated all Adivasis of Jharkhand and said the day gives inspiration to safeguard social, economic and cultural heritage of the community. Munda said Adivasi community is famous world over for their cultural harmony and coexistence and the community is facing a lot of problem on social and economic front. Munda rued lack of development of the community despite a plethora of rights granted by the Constitution.
Munda appealed the tribal community to come forward in the field of education and employment and take pledge on the occasion of International Adivasi Day for the same.
