Rakshabandhan celebrations at SBPS
The love between a brother and a sister is one of the deepest and noblest of human emotions. ‘Raksha Bandhan’ is a special occasion to celebrate this emotional bonding, when a sister ties a Rakhi around her brother’s wrist and prays for his long life. To honour this unique bond, a special assembly was organized in the premises of the school. A skit was presented by the students on Raksha Bandhan. They also tied Rakhis on the wrists of the community helpers. A Rakhi making activity was conducted for the students during which they created handmade Rakhis using recyclable material. School Head Personnel and Admin Dr. Pradip Varma praised the efforts made by the students and advised them to stay connected to their roots through these traditions and cultures. Principal Paramjit Kaur said that this is a bond of love and togetherness and should be cherished for life by children and adults alike.
CMPDI distributes Tricolours among citizens
CMPDI(HQ) on Thursday distributed National Flags to the Residents of Misir Gonda, Kanke Road, Ranchi as part of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsov”. On this occasion, significance of “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign was explained to the residents and urged them to hoist the National Flag in their homes from 13-15th August 2022.
