Usha Martin gives ICU to shalini Hospital
Usha Martin's company secretary Sampa Roy Ghosh has said that good hospitals are required to address the demand of rural communities. She inaugurated the ICU unit, which was donated by Usha Martin foundation to Shalini Hospital for enhancement of infrastructure. She said that the foundation is doing good work for rural development. Foundation Secretary Dr Mayank Murari informed about the ongoing activities. Dr Mridula Kachchap and Rana Vikash were present during the function.
R Madhavan to address XLRI students
The stage is all set for Ensemble-Valhalla, the annual cultural, sports and management festival of XLRI. The festival will be held from4th, 5th to 6th March, 2022. The fest will be inaugurated on 3rd March, by Bollywood actor R Madhavan, who will virtually address the XLRI fraternity. “The festival will witness participation from B-schools across the country in huge numbers. A blend of business sense, logic along with sportsmanship, creativity, and passion, the three-day carnival promises to challenge and sharpen the leadership skills of the participants. This year, with the theme - Realm of Dreams," said an official. The 30+ flagship events like The Next Gen Leader, Strike or Yield, War of Wits and many more, cover the three areas of culture, sports and management thereby ensuring something in store for everyone. The events have been designed for colleges across the country in fields from strategy to HR, social causes, sports, art and dance. The fest will see a footfall of thousands of students in events made for both offline and online mode.
Inauguration of new canteen in BSL
The new canteen controlled by Personnel (Operations-Welfare) in BSL's CRM-3 was inaugurated by Chief General Manager (CRM-3) Rajan Prasad. On this occasion, CGM Inc (Personnel) Pawan Kumar, GM (CRM-3) Sunil Kumar, GM (CRM-3) Prabhat Ranjan, GM (CRM-3) RK Vehra, GM Inc (Personnel) Sanjeev Sharan Singh and other officers including various personnel of CRM-3 Department and Personnel Department were present. With the opening of this canteen, the personnel working in CRM-1, 2 and 3 departments will get the facility of food and drink at reasonable rates. Canteen Inspector (Personnel Operations) Kumar Saurabh and Alam of CED Department played an important role in the implementation of the new canteen.
