In a significant step towards combating cyber crime, the state government has established a new Cyber Police Station in Sector 4-G of Bokaro. This new station will enable residents to easily file complaints related to cyber crime, receive prompt assistance, and ensure effective action against offenders.

The district's first Cyber Police Station was inaugurated by IG Michael S. Raj of the Bokaro Zone, who cut the ribbon to mark the opening. The inauguration ceremony was attended by DIG Surendra Jha, SP Pujya Prakash, and other senior police officers.

IG Michael S. Raj stated, "The opening of the Cyber Police Station will provide significant convenience to the public. Victims of cyber fraud, in particular, will now be able to quickly register their cases, and the investigations will proceed at a faster pace." He acknowledged the rise in cyber crime incidents and the criminals' use of new electronic gadgets, which delay police access to these devices, giving criminals an advantage.

Raj also mentioned that the training of officers and policemen is ongoing. Soon, they will be capable of taking swift action in cyber crime cases. His goal is to ensure the quick resolution of all cases and the prompt arrest of criminals.
