The new Cold Pig Yard Crane at Blast Furnace of Bokaro Steel Plant was inaugurated by CGM (Blast Furnace) MP Singh. On this occasion, GM (Blast Furnace) Manoj Kumar Rai, GM (Capital Repeater – Mechanical) TS Ranjan, GM (Blast Furnace) Jayant Joddhar, GM (Blast Furnace) Mahendra Prasad, General Manager (Blast Furnace) Raj Kumar Barnwal, Deputy Manager (Blast Furnace) Ashwini Kumar, along with other officers and personnel of Blast Furnace and Capital Repair department were present. Trailing cable with jockey roller has been provided in this new cold pig yard crane, which will increase the efficiency of pig dispatching as well as increase the productivity of the blast furnace department. Capital repeater-mechanical department and electrical maintenance personnel contributed significantly in the installation of a new cold pig yard crane.
