The CM was speaking on the second Foundation Day of India’s third Defense University which offers courses in the fields of police science and security management.

“Only with advanced planning and management, hi-tech cyber crimes like hacking, ATM forgery, cloning and other related crimes can be stopped. The purpose behind establishing a dedicated university is to create experts in particular areas like Forensic Science, Cyber Security, Industrial Security considering the future requirements in this ever changing dynamic world,” said the CM.

The CM further added that the trained students of this university will be given preference by the State government in the police service including other different law and order sectors. “The university has been established with a purpose to utilize the potential of the youths of the State. The doors of opportunity will also aid in curtailing migration to an extent here. Students studying in this university will be able to take up challenges and control serious offense like terrorism, financial crime and cyber misdeed,” he said.

Meanwhile, motivating the students, VC – In Charge JRSU, Ajoy Kumar Singh said that immense opportunities are waiting for the students who are undergoing training here. “During the governing body meet, the members have proposed that students of JRSU must get quota in police job. Further, the VC – In Charge said, “If all goes well, the fourth Foundation Day of the university will be celebrated on the new campus premises being constructed at Knowledge City, Khunti. The State government is committed towards the expansion and development of this university.”
