Conference focus on schoolchildren affected from lockdown
Schools were closed due to lockdown during the Corona period. The children studying in government schools have been affected the most. The period has adversely affected the development of marginalized children, girl children and children with special needs. Following the orders of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the Department of School Education and Literacy is working with full commitment to bridge the gap in education among children. In this episode, a two-day national level conference is being organized by the Department of Education and Literacy at Hotel BNR Chanakya on 12th and 13th April 2022 to discuss the better initiatives taken by other states and society for the education of children after the lockdown to be made and understood.
Participating experts from different states will share their views in the conclave. The focus of the government will be to re-infuse the learning potential of children by adopting their views and best practices and suggestions. An MoU will also be signed between Jharkhand Education Project Council and CARE India (consortium partners) for a collaborative effort in further strengthening the education sector at the conclave.
