PNS

Elated over the unexpected performance in the recent Assembly elections in Haryana and Maharashtra, national president of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Anurag Thakur has said that the BJP can easily get 2/3rd of the Assembly seats in the State if party workers put in their efforts. Thakur, while talking to media persons here on Monday also announced that the BJP in order to mobilize the youth vote bank in Jharkhand, will organise ‘NaMo Yuva Chaupal’ on November 2 to be attended by all the local MPs and MlAs and the party workers. Yuva Chaupal will be organized at all the wards and panchayats in the State.

“The recent trends in Maharashtra and Haryana elections show that the people have outrightly rejected the regional parties and are giving priority to the national parties as they are looking forward to a majority government in the states,” said Thakur. In Jharkhand also, we will make the dreams of the youths come true by forming a majority government, he added.

“BJP has always promoted youths in the country and we are determined to give tickets to the youths who will be contesting in the coming assembly elections,” Thakur added.

Hinting that there may be an alliance with the likeminded parties in Jharkhand during the Assembly elections, Thakur said that the party has never ever left any of its old friends alone, but at the same time, it was bound to take tough decisions when unreasonable demands were made from the other side.

“BJP always has a respect for its alliance partners and has honoured them by giving ministerial berths both at the Centre and in the states,” he said.

Calling the recent victory in Maharashtra and Haryana as historic, Thakur said that the Modi wave is still working in the country and the BJP will be forming a majority government in Jharkhand also taking the advantage of his leadership.

‘Haryana aur Maharashra ki Sarkar hamari hai – Ab Jammu & Kashmir or Jharkhand ki bari hai (As the government of Haryana and Maharashtra is ours - now it’s turn of Jammu & Kashmir and Jharkhand),” said Thakur.

Thakur also announced that the BJP Yuva Morcha will be organizing at least 5 mega youth conferences in different parts of Jharkhand from November 7 – 15, to be taken part by youth voters as well as the members of the Yuva Morcha from across the State.

“Before that a workers’ conference of youth wing of the party will be organized on October 26 in Ranchi,” he said.

Thakur also announced that on the first day of every month, members of BJP ‘Yuva Morcha’ will clean the statues of great personalities placed at every nook an corner of the State by washing it properly on regular basis.

“It will give a positive message to the people that the preparations are on by the BJP to remove the dirt from the State during the coming Assembly elections,” he added.
