PNS

The Chatra MP Inder Singh Namdhari who inspected the site of the ancient Radha Krishan temple at Bhavandi in Chainpur block on Wednesday, said the area has enough potential to be made a religious tourist hub here.

The MP saw a lotus pond where this ancient temple a rare one of Radha Krishana is situated. There is a fleet of long trees there making this spot all the more suitable for religious tourism. The site is just close to road which is a medium traffic one but it retains the beauty of being far from the madding crowd nevertheless it is a 15 minute journey from Daltonganj to reach here by bike.

Namdhari said he would take up this matter with the DC Palamau Manoj Kumar and tried to find out how this could be developed. A renowned surgeon of Palamau RN Singh is all out to get this temple on the tourist map of Palamau as Singh said ‘There is all that a religious tourist will like to have peace, serenity,  safety and bountiful nature’. In the year 2006 the Jharkhand Government did make some initiatives but it got cold shelved.

The Chatra MP had this twin programme here in Chainpur. He inaugurated a library in memory of a mukhiya late Babu Ram Naresh Singh. The surgeon R N Singh built it. Namdhari in his speech said the surgeon Singh has set an example by raising a library in memoriam of his uncle as today kinship fight hardly leaves any room for such a respect and regard to souls departed.

The Surgeon RN Singh raised this library in the name of his uncle late Babu Ram Naresh Singh and not in memory of his ( surgeon) father!. The MP said the library would cater to all class of people. The old generation can spend time here reading books/newspapers. The Chatra MP lamented that for want of 5 acres of land he is not making any progress in getting set up eye hospital branch of the famous Shanker Netralaya here in Palamau. Namdhari motivated the surgeon R N Singh to take more intitiative towards this.
