A munsi Vishnu Mahto engaged in road construction work from Jharo to Jamgain in Bhandra Thana was murdered by some assailants some days ago. lohardaga police succeeded to arrest the accused of the murder. The complexities of the case were unveiled after arrest of the criminal Jitendra Munda.
In this matter SP Kartik S said to the media persons, “Police set up a team in the direction of SP and arrested the accused Jitendra Munda from Kisko Mod who is the resident of Parhepat of Kisko Thana. The criminals had accomplished the murder of the munsi Vishnu Mahto for not meeting the demand of the levy worth Rs5 lakhs.”
The murder was done in daylight by a team of six heads. Vishnu Mahto was the dweller of Burkagaon. He was shot dead just a distance of 500 meters from his working site on the road leading to Jharo. The other criminals engaged in this murder have also been recognised, told the SP.
