Expressing concern over politics being played over the establishment of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) alleged that despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi being sensitive for the development of Jharkhand, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his Ministers are trying to politicise the matter that may put the project into backburner.
Munda said on Tuesday that the way a controversy was being created over the establishment of AIIMS, it was not beneficial for the State. The former CM also said that the State Government should take positive steps in this regard so that no further delay is done in its establishment. Munda also added that the establishment of AIIMS must be seen in the interest of 3.29 crore people in the state.
Meanwhile, writing a letter to CM has asked to clear the intentions of Chief Secretary by his surprise visit to Ramgarh directing the officials lower down their incomes to zero within a month. Munda also asked Soren to make public the names who are actually involved in the illegal smuggling of coal. Munda said that the surprise visit has actually revealed the control of the State Government on its officers who are making huge money through illegal means across the State.
