With a view to accentuate ‘Service Orientation’ within, SAIL Management Training Institute (MTI) has embarked upon a series of programs under the aegis of its flagship intervention "MTI Apke Dwar". After completing a successful tour of IISCO Burnpur and SAIL Marketing headquarters at Kolkata, the MTI team under the able leadership of Shri Sanjeev Kumar, ED(HRD) covered the steel plants of Bokaro and Rourkela last week.
The one and half day outreach was supported by Plant HRD Centres and witnessed enthusiastic participation from all departments. The program had various sessions such as firming up the Learning & Development policy in wake of changing technologies, identifying interventions for accelerating Digital Transformation in the plants.
The inaugural as well as closing sessions were chaired by respective Director incharges of plants along with all functional heads. In-house faculties comprising KS Savarni, Md Yusuf, Chandranath Kumar, Satyajit Anand, Omprakash took interesting sessions of plant personnel.
