The four departments preparing to delegate powers are-Public Health & Engineering Department; Industry; Arts, Culture, Sports & Youth Affairs, Food & Civil Supplies (FCS) and Forest & Environment. The FCS department has even notified the powers to be delegated.

Interestingly, department of Forest & Environment has been asked to rework on the proposals made regarding powers to be delegated. “The Forest department might take time as it has been instructed to consider legal aspects before making proposals,” said Ekka.
