Fresh bail application on behalf of Niranjan Sharma and his aide Sudheer Kumar Sahu, accused in the money grab case, were filed at the special vigilance court in Ranchi while hearing on Rama Khalkho’s bail application was deferred for one week as the court demanded case diary.
Meanwhile, police sought two-day remand of both Sharma and Sahu. “We have prayed for two day remands for Niranjan Shama and Sudheer Kumar Sahu which is still pending before the court,” said advocate Naresh Kumar.
Ranchi Mayor Rama Khalkho is absconding despite being issued an arrest warrant in the money grab case where `21.9 lakh were seized from a hotel room in Ranchi.
