Nirmalendu Mohapatra assumed office as the new executive director (Personnel & Administration) of IISCO Steel Plant on Saturday. Earlier, Mohapatra was the executive director (Personnel & Administration) of Bokaro Steel limited Bokaro, officials informed.
Beginning his career from SAIl’s Bhilai Steel Plant in 1980, Mohapatra worked in various capacities in the Personnel Department before becoming the GM (HRD) of Bhilai Steel Plant in 2008. In April 2012 he was transferred to Bokaro Steel limited (BSl) as GM-I/c (P&A) and was finally elevated to the rank of ED (P&A) of BSl in Sep 2012.
“A Ph D in History from the CSVT University, Raipur and an alumnus of the prestigious Delhi University Dr. Mohapatra brings with him over 33 years of rich experience in Personnel, Administration and Human Resource”, said the officials.
