Modi's report card will convince voters: Madhav

PNS

BJP's general secretary Ram Madhav on Tuesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's report card of the last three months is sufficient enough to convince the voters and attain a clear majority to form a stable Government in the State.

Madhav, however, hinted at the possibility of a post-poll alliance in the State and appealed to party workers to target for a majority Government and forget about any alliance. He was addressing a conference of party workers here on Tuesday.

"We will contest elections only to win and form a stable Government in the State," said Madhav. The issue of alliance will be taken care of later by the senior party leaders with their consent.

Rejecting the apprehension raised by media persons that the party in the State is divided into several lobbies, the national vice-president said that there is only one lobby that is BJP under which the workers will go for Assembly elections under Narendra Modi's leadership.

Taking on the JMM-led Hemant Soren Government in the State, Madhav alleged that it was not confident of its own performance due to which it has been forced to raise irrelevant issues like domicile to divert the minds of the people from the real problems.

"Anybody who was living in the State when Jharkhand was formed 14 years back is a resident of this State," said Madhav. He further added that Soren Government does not need an opposition as Ministers of its own Government have been making serious allegations against the working of this Government.

Referring to the grand alliance of the Opposition parties in Bihar, Mahdav also said that those who are afraid of Modi are lobbying against him in order to save their political future. "Same experiment is being attempted in Jharkhand also but the people of this State are quite aware of the fact and will vote only for the BJP," said Madhav.

The report card of the Modi Government at the Centre itself is sufficient for convincing the people here to vote for the party if they really want development in the State, he added. "It is the BJP only which can bring in development in the State if the Centre gets proper coordination from the State Government," he said.

In order to achieve the goal set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it needs State Governments to run accordingly and get more and more benefits from Centre, added Madhav.

Calling the party workers of Ranchi Assembly seat as time-tested, Ranchi MlA CP Singh said that the party workers of Ranchi constituency have proved it again and again that they are more energetic than anywhere else. "You have done it again and again and I am confident that you are going to prove it again like you did in the lok Sabha elections," said Singh.

Other prominent leaders who tried to put in fresh energy to the party workers through their speeches were Ranchi MP Ram Tahal Chaudhary, Ranchi Mayor Asha lakra, Mahanagar BJP president Gama Singh and several other State party leaders.
