In a rare gesture, BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi apologised to the media for the inconvenience caused by a section of his party supporters who forcibly entered the media enclosure during a rally organised at Gopal Maidan.
As Modi reached the dais, over a dozen party supporters started forcibly entered the media gallery causing inconvenience to scribes gathered there.
Modi had to briefly pause for few seconds as he got displeased with a section of crowd who had rushed to the media enclosure and started jostling with each other to get a glimpse of the leader and after heated exchanges they also indulged in attacking each other with lathis.
“These handful of people standing near the barricading should be ashamed for disturbing the journalists. They should behave themselves. I am sorry for the chaos,” started Modi after a brief pause in a speech which lasted for 10 minutes.
