Now the people may avail the facility of running toilet vehicle on the occasion of marriage, summits or any other function,” said Chairman Pawan Ekka after inauguration of running toilet vehicle at Municipal office.
Ekka said, “The vehicle would keep on plying in the city. The person in need may get its facility. For this they would have to pay negligible amount. The vehicle has been made available keeping in mind the Clean India campaign. At this time this single vehicle having six toilets worth Rs 6 lakhs has been brought here. The facility of water basin is also available here. In future as many as 10 more vehicles would be provided. As well a vehicle for dead bodies and mobile treatment vehicle would also be given to the district.”
During the programme 30 rickshaws were also given to the poor and they were given the slips of Municipality. According to the chairman the rickshaw owners would be issued an identity card having their photographs.
On the occasion Municipality executive officer Ganga Ran Thakur, Head assistant Safdar Alam, Ward councilors Rajeev Ranjan, Sanjay Kumar, Ayub Ali and many others were present.
