A first of its kind mobile digital movie theater was launched in Ranchi on Thursday. This air conditioned theatre would travel in remote areas; giving an option for the people of rural areas to experience the cinema hall effect. These mobile theatres would also be used to screen movies at JIFFA 2019.
Sushil Choudhary, CEO of Picture Time, the company which introduced the concept of the mobile theatre said, "Mobile digital movie theater is an effective effort to take cinema to the doorstep of people. This will not just provide the people with wonderful movie watching experience but at the same time will help reduce piracy."
