Irate public lynched a 44-year-old man, identified as Kameshwar Rajwar, to death in Hussainabad in Palamu on Monday night after he was allegedly caught red-handed while robbing a house. According to sources, Rajwar had a unique modus operandi in which he used to create small fire and then committed theft.
The Sources said he used to cause small fire to bring out inmates of houses away from their dwelling places in order to commit theft.
Sources said on Monday night Rajwar did the same. He allegedly set afire a part of cow shed and storage of straw in the village Bareypur-Saheeyar. Amid the melee, one saw Rajwar coming out of a house with his booty. The mob caught and thrashed hid leading to his death.
