“People keep a close eye on the proceedings of the House and also keeps a tab whether their issues are being raised in the house or not,” she added. The lS Speaker also urged the MlAs to focus on their roles, evaluating where they are lacking.Speaking on the occasion, Governor Draupadi Murmu said everyone should contribute in developing Jharkhand Assembly as an ideal Vidhan Sabha in the country to be followed by other States.“It should always be kept in mind that cabinet members are accountable to the Assembly under the Parliamentary system while every member of the house, whether he is in the power or not, is accountable towards the House,” said the Governor.

Chief Minister Raghubar Das on the other hand, said that India should feel proud as it is known for the largest democracy in the world. “Elected representatives should always be accountable to the people of his constituency and try to solve their problems by becoming their voice in the house,” said the CM.Das also stressed on holding such workshops for everyone in the administration to make democratic arrangement stronger in the Country.   Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Dinesh Oraon also said that everyone in the Assembly must be aware of the process of budget formulation, fixing of priority on for allocation and transparency on expenses. “One needs more knowledge for opposing a budget than to support it,” said Oraon. Only a budget in public interest could cater the spirit of a welfare state, he added.
