PNS

Chhaterpur BJP MlA Radha Krishan Kishore showed concern over the extremism in Kooh Kooh Kalan under lalgarha panchayat in Naudeeha police station on Sunday. He said it is a matter of concern as this part of Palamu is ravaged by Maoists, who had held up development works and had plunged the population into a life of denial and destitution.

Kishore, on the occasion also announced that Kooh Kooh Kalan will be electrified in four weeks time. He told the gathering, “The members of the legislature and the administration both are here. There was a time when I was asked by the residents to leave within ten minutes of my arrival here but it is a different story now.”

The MlA questioned the intention of the extremists as to why the construction work of two bridges under lalgarha has been put on hold by themIJ Do they not know what effect it will have on mothers who are to deliver babies here, he asked.

Kishore said, “There is a limit to one's patience. I want developmental works here and now with the setting up of the forward security post here things are set to improve faster.”

DC Palamu Ameet Kumar said, “The extremists come under the same constitution of this country which has given right to food and right to education and so the extremists should also shun violence and take the mainstream route.”

SP Palamu Patel Mayur K lal in his speech said, “This area was under the influence of the Maoists for over 20 to 25 years but what the populace got from them”. Patel Mayur added further that I ask the naxals to connect to Government. The face of this neglected piece of land here will change.

On the electrification scheme here he said, “The task is tough.  The electricity department is to first tone up its 11,000 Volt high tension wire besides taking care of five poles too.”
