Chief whip of the BJP in Assembly and Chhaterpur MlA RK Kishore has gifted a 32 cm lED TV and DTH dish antennae to jawans and officials of the Jaguar and RPF posted at a Naxal den in Kooh Kooh in Palamu. Kooh Kooh security post is manned by one company each of CRPF (134 battalion) and Jaguar. Kishore said, "This gift of TV to jawans and officials is just to assure them that we care for them and we want them to be as destressed and defatigued since jawans and officials in this tough terrain do extreme hard work and after hard work they need to be relaxed and we believe this TV will help our jawans come over their stress and strain'. He has also gifted dish antennae thereby offering jawans and officials access to more than 70 channels.
Kishore said ' I got to feel that cops do need recreation at place like this where jawans and officials can just interact with them and outside interaction is just not desirable because of the extreme hard and tough topography like this at Kooh Kooh.'
BJP leader said it is high time big companies and houses should also step forward to replenish such interior forward security posts with items like this say huge water purifier, good battery set tv etc.
Kooh Kooh is a terrain where influx of extremists from BIhar is no unheard of things.
Sources said the setting up of this forward security post here has upset the cart of extremism as their influence here has suffered a major erosion.
Sources said in the annals of Palamu there has been no political leader who has ever bothered or taken pains to spare time for the cops who live at posts with bare minimum facility of life.
Sources said this BJP MlA and BJP MP V D Ram in joint collaboration and effort reached electricity in Kooh Kooh only some months back.
Sources said Kooh Kooh has high percentage of flouride content in the under ground water and thus jawans and officials here at the post look forward to safe potable water.
