A meeting for the preparation of the Republic Day was called at Abhilasha hall. It was chaired by the DC Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh. In the meeting it was decided that the national festival would be celebrated with fervor in the district. From January 18 to 23 the practices would be done for parade. The freedom fighters and the persons represented the district would be honored too.
The DC said, “For Republic day the officials must fulfill their duties sincerely. The DEO and the DSE were instructed to mark Prabhat Phery in their schools. In the meeting the CS Municipality and the Building sub division dept were instructed to with practices of the parade they must assure the availability of first aid, repairing of roads to BS college, drinking water, temporary toilets, cleanliness and painting.
