The two-member team of Medical Council of India (MCI), on the second day of inspection of the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) visited various wards, department of microbiology, rural health centre and gave directions to the concerned doctors.
The team was accompanied by RIMS director Tulsi Mahto during the inspection. The inspection team was on the visit to ascertain if the infrastructure at the medical college was good enough to allow it to get 150 students for MBBS.
The team will prepare the report that would be considered while final decision on number of seats would be taken.
