JVM chief Babulal Marandi on Monday met Governor Droupadi Murmu to apprise her about alleged misconduct by the Government in renewing mining lease of Shah Brothers and alterations made in the Energy Policy to benefit Adani Power.
A delegation that also comprised party MlA Pradeep Yadav and other leaders submitted detailed papers which has recommended against renewing iron ore mines to Shah Brothers at Chaibasa.
The party while alleging the change in the Energy Policy which, it said may cause loss of Rs 2000 crore to State exchequer annually, demanded for probe by any central agency like CBI.
