State BJP President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today again lashed out at Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Marandi was addressing people at the Sankalp Yatra of Manika assembly constituency in Barwadih on Saturday.
He said that the people of the state had handed over power to Hemant Soren for development, the youth had made him the Chief Minister for employment, but Hemant ji forgot all the promises as soon as he came to power. He remembered only money and family.
He said that for the sake of family and money, Hemant Soren is looting the mines, minerals, sand, stone and land of Jharkhand. While looting and getting looted, Hemant ji got entangled in files, folders and boss.
He said that during the BJP government, sand was free for the masses, but as soon as they came to power, Chief Minister Hemant Soren gave the responsibility of looting the sand ghat to the businessmen of Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. Marandi said that if Hemant Soren remains in power any longer, there will be nothing left in the state for the people of Jharkhand.
He said that today the law and order situation in the state has collapsed. Incidents of murder, robbery and kidnapping are happening every day. The honour of sisters and daughters is not safe. On an average, 5 murders and 5 rape incidents are happening in the state every day.
He said that in the last six months, 23 businessmen who were contributing to the development of the state were killed. Among them, there are 9 such people to whom the state police did not provide security guards even after asking for them. Here, government money is seized from the houses of brokers and middlemen, but the common man is forced to live in fear.
He said that in fact the police are no longer working to protect the public and catch criminals; rather the Hemant government has engaged them in recovery. The state police are now filling the coffers of Hemant Soren by arresting those carrying sand even on bicycles for personal use.
Marandi said that corruption in the state has made life miserable for the people. No work is done without money anywhere in the block or police station area. If you want to get an income certificate, mutation, residential certificate, caste certificate or death certificate, you will have to pay money.
He said that Jharkhand state is the gift of the BJP government and whatever development is seen is the gift of the BJP government. He said that Jharkhand state was given by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, while the people of Congress and JMM were busy in selling and buying the movement.
Marandi said that today, for the last nine and a half years, the BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is dedicated to the development of all sections of the society including villages, poor, farmers, labourers, women and youth. The Modi government is living up to its promises. The Modi government is continuously working in the service of poor village farmers.
He pledged to make Modi ji the Prime Minister for the third time in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections and to form a strong BJP government in the assembly elections.
