Asub zonal commander of CPI Maoist Abhijit alias Mahavir, carrying Rs 5 lakh reward, suffred a heavy blow today when under UAP Act DSP Chhaterpur Shambhu Kumar Singh confiscated his 23 decimal of land priced at more than one crore by market value. DSP Singh has confirmed this confiscation.
According to DSP this 23 decimal of land was in Chhaterpur, Naudeeha and Daltonganj.
The asset police believe is from the levy collected by this Maoist.
Three COs namely of Medininagar, Chhaterpur and Naudeeha have been made the receiver cum custodians of these confiscated asset which is neither for sale nor for purchase.
SP Palamu had sent a proposal to this effect to DGP for approval of confiscation.
DSP further said Maoist’s bank account in Vananchal Gramin bankat Naudeeha carrying 41,200 rupees too has been frozen.
