Reeling under acute financial crunch an estranged husband committed suicide when his wife demanded Rs 100 for purchasing medicine in Bokaro on Saturday. According to police, the deceased —Sujay Kumar (30), an engineer at Samsung, was presently posted at Bokaro. His body was found hanging from the ceiling in his house at Sector 6.
Sujay hanged himself after an argument with his wife, police said. “Suffering from toothache I demanded Rs 100 from Sujay for medicines. But Sujay denied and we had a argument over it,” said Sanjana, widow of the deceased. “later Sujay locked me with my two children in a room and hanged himself,” she added. A case has been lodged and investigations are on, said OC of Sector 6 police station.
While in another incident Bijendra Kumar (22) a resident of Jhopri colony under Marafari police station killed himself by hanging with a tree, police said.
