The Bokaro district Judge–II Ranjit Kumar of Bokaro court awarded ten years Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) to a man for killing his wife over dowry.
The court awarded ten years RI to Santos Rajwar a resident of Hanuman Nagar, Sector 12 for killing his wife Kavita Kumari for dowry on 15 April 2015.
Kavita was burnt alive by her husband under Sector 12 OP at Bokaro Steel City just after 51 days of her marriage with Santosh, said advocate Rakesh Kumar Rai.
