A review meet of construction of toilets in the district was called by DC Bhuvanesh Pratap Singh at Abhilasha hall. In the meet DC directed to make the district free of open toilets till December 2016. As well he directed the BDOs to achieve the goal of toilet construction in their respected blocks.
In the meet it was also told that at many Panchayat the funds have been released to the Mukhiya. Still the construction works has not been completed. This passive work progress would not be tolerated.
DC Bhuvanesh Pratap Singh said, “We have to make cleanliness our recognition. The villagers should be aware and also use toilets after its construction.”
After that DC took sought of the progress of construction of toilets at Nawadih of Kisko block, Alaudi of Senha block, Bhounro of Senha block, Peshrar of Peshrar block, Hesag and all the Panchayats of Kuru and Kairo block. DC also directed the officials of Drinking water and sanitation dept, concerned BDOs to exercise regular supervision.
On the occasion DDC Danial Kandulana, executive engineer Bipin Bihari Sinha, executive officer Ganga Ram Thakur, BDOs of all blocks and CP Yadav of lGSS were present.
