A major and unique case of theft has been registered in local Sadar Police Station.
last night the thieves broke into the house of Santosh Kumar Singh, DSA HDFC Finance, and from his almirah stole Rs8 lakh cash and gold ornaments of Rs2 lakh. The thieves left the silver ornaments, laptop and other costly items which were in their reach.House owner Santosh Kumar Singh had gone to his village Bhusai of Ichak block and when he came back he saw the broken locks. In Aryapuri Muhalla this is the second case of same nature. In June thieves had stolen cash and gold ornaments from the house of Pappu Singh and Nagendra Singh. There too they had not touched other costly items.
