The State Government on Wednesday effected a major administrative reshuffle transferring top bureaucrats —including 17 IAS officers and seven IPS officers. Jharkhand Cadre IAS officers Amit Khare and Nidhi Khare have been allotted posts of Principal Secretary Finance and Secretary Commercial Taxes department respectively. The officers have been called from Central Deputation after Chief Minister Raghubar Das’ request to the Centre.
Chairperson of state Finance Commission Vishnu Kumar has been transferred and posted as Member Revenue Board. Kumar will hold additional charge of Chairperson, State Finance Commission. Principal Secretary Personal Department SK Satpathy has been given additional charge of Cabinet Secretariat and Coordination department. Principal Secretary Water Resources department Sukhdeo Singh has been given additional charge of MD, Greater Ranchi Development Authority, while Principal Secretary Cooperative department Alka Tiwari has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary cum Commissioner of Vigilance department.
Principal Secretary to CM Sanjay Kumar has been given additional charge of Secretary of Information and Public Relations Department, while Secretary of Tourism department Avinsah Kumar has been given additional Charge of Secretary, Sports, youth and Culture department. Welfare department Secretary Rajiv Arun Ekka has been transferred and posted as Secretary of Cooperative department, while Sports Secertary Vanadana Dadel has been given the post of Welfare department. Divisional Commissioner Kolhan Divison Arun has been given additional charge of Administrator, Swarnrekha Multipurpose project, Jamshedpur.
Commercial Taxes department Secretary MR Meena has been allotted the post of Secretary, Rural Works department, while Secretary to the CM Sunil Kumar Varnwal has been given additional charge of IT department. Secretary Revenue and land Reforms department KK Soan has been given additional charge of Secretary Building Construction department. Among the senior IPS officers ADG (CID) SN Pradhan has been made new ADG (Operations), while Additional Resident Commissioner Delhi , Ajay Bhatnagar has been made the ADG (Headquarters).
ADG (Operations) Anil Palta has been made the new ADG (Modernisation), while ADG (Headquarters) BB Pradhan has been transferred and posted as ADG (Rail). ADG (Training and Modernization) VH Deshmukh has been made ADG (Vigilance and security ) at JUVNl, while ADG (Special Branch) Rezi Dungdung has been made the new ADG (CID). IG (Provision) Anurag Gupta has been made the new IG (Special Branch).
