As the dates for lok Sabha polls have been announced DC Paramjeet Kaur, in a Press conference, said that the administration is prepared to conduct the election peacefully. Election in lohardaga area will be conducted on April 10.
The DC also informed about the schedule that the notification will be issued on March 15, last date for filing nominations is March 22, scrutiny of nominations will be on March 24, last date to withdraw candidature is March 26 and counting of votes will be conducted on May 16. SP Mrityunjay Kumar said, “During the elections, there would be tight security for peaceful voting.”
