The winner of lohardaga lok Sabha constituency region Sudarshan Bhagat marked a huge victory procession with the party members. The procession started from the party office after garlanding the picture of Mother India. The members took the round of the city dancing and offering sweets to each others. People congratulated each other by playing with gulal and bursting crackers. The procession was led by the district head of BJP Rakesh Prasad and BJP Kisaan Morcha State president Om Prakash Singh.
In the procession, the chief leaders were ex-MlA Ramesh Oraon, Neeraj Nalin, Raj Kumar Verma, Braj Bihari Prasad, Chandrasekhar Agarwal, Ajay Mittal, Ashok Khatri, Naveen Tinku, Kajal Dutta, Samila Bhagat, Anita Dutta and other party members. The role of Bishunpur and Sisai region of the legislative Assembly played a vital role in the victory of the BJP in lohardaga lS region. In Bishunpur area, the ex-MlA-cum-State ST Morcha president Sameer Oraon played his role as the election in-charge. In Bishunpur lA area, Sudarshan Bhagat got 40,661 votes. Here Rameshwar Oraon got 29,562 whereas Chamra linda got 34,239. Chamra linda is the seating MlA of Bishunpur. likewise, the centre of Congress Sisai witnessed the victory of BJP defeating the Congress. Rameshwar Oraon got 39,821 and Sudarshan Bhagat got 41,826 votes. Chamra linda linda got 25,523 votes here.
Notably, the region Sisai has been the legislative Assembly (lA) area of Education Minister Geetashree Oraon. In lohardaga Rameshwar Oraon got 45,514, Sudarshan Bhagat got 47,272 and Chamra linda got only 21,523. In Gumla lA area BJP remained behind. Here Rameshwar Oraon got 53,578, while Sudarshan Bhagat had to be satisfied with 43,034 votes. TMC candidate Chamra linda got 9,331 votes here.
