The State has achieved yet another milestone in its fight against corona pandemic on Friday as total number of active corona cases has come down to 3291.
As per the daily bulletin released by the health department on Friday, the total active cases of corona virus in State stood at 3291. On Friday, 288 fresh postive cases of coronavirus were reported from different parts of State, while at the same time 661 persons recovered from the infection on Friday.
At the same time four more person lost thier lives battling the infections with total corona casulties surging to 921 on Friday. As per the bulletin released by health department, the total postive cases of COVID-19 in State is 105781 out of which 101569 persons have recovered from infections.
The drop in active corona cases and increase in recovery rate has helped in improving the recovery rate in State.
As per the health bulletin, the recovery rate of Jharkhand stood at 96.01 per cent, which is four per cent more than national recovery rate. The national recovery rate stood at 92.97 per cent.
The improvement in recovery rate has also helped in improving mortality rate. The corona mortality rate stood at .87 per cent which is better than national mortality rate of 1.50 per cent.
Out of four deaths reported in State on Friday, one person each died in Ranchi, Ramgarh, East Singhbhum and Bokaro district.
Out of total 921 deaths reported in State, East Singhbhum still accounts for more than 30 per cent of total deaths. The corona death figures in East Singhbhum is 342 followed by Ranchi district where 183 persons have lost thier lives battling infections.
However, in terms of corona cases, Ranchi district is still at top with maximum corona cases. In Ranchi district the total corona postive cases is 26665, out of which 25366 persons have recovered from infections.
