The 32nd principal district and sessions judge of Palamau judgeship —
VK Sahay — has been transferred from here to lohardaga judgeship. Palamau judgeship was established in 1960 and Sahay has adorned the chair of district judge as its 32nd incumbent. However, he was posted as a principal district and sessions judge here in 2013. The Pioneer held a talk with him.
Your transfer will make your successor, in Daltonganj, go through the cases afresh that you have been hearing which will mean make the disposal od those cases slower
Successors everywhere work hard and mug things faster so to say there will set in slowness is not proper.
You were treated here as one bold judicial officer who believed in not denying bails in cases where it was due and in cases tough and difficult where others would have preferred to deny it.
