State DGP DK Pandey’s directive to SP latehar Anoop Birtharey yielded results. DGP had asked the SP latehar to bust the two railway crimes in which passengers of two boogies of Tata Jammu Tawai express train was looted and in other crime a goods train guard Ml Ram was beaten to death in latehar district said sources.
Sources said both the railway crimes occurred in latehar district. SP Birtharey said, “DGP had asked us to solve these two cases of crime which were in fact registered with the GRP but nevertheless as these two episodes occurred in latehar district our police remained on this job of tracking down the criminals and it paid us rich haul of criminals. In the murder of the goods train guard Ml Ram, latehar police arrested four youths who are Joginder Manjit Shubhuam Harari Singh. These four beat the train guard to death as Ram had got these four out of the train with the help of the RPF but these four sneaked into the goods train and between Koomandi and Hehegara railway stations took a wooden piece and finished Ram. The four were drunk. Joginder has a track record of train crime, said Police.
In other busting the robbery in Tata Jammu Tawai express train has been cracked with the arrest of the kingpin of this robbery Ram Jan Singh said SP latehar who added police have seized adhar cards and empty bags of the passengers of this long distance train so robbed of by this Ram Jan Singh and four of his accomplices who hail from Chhipadohar area and have criminal disposition.
