During the ongoing two day conference of INTUC in the State Capital, Labour Minister, Satyanand Bhokta and various members of INTUC were present.

After being elected the national president, Tripathi thanked the members while addressing the General Assembly and the people present. He said that the country is going through adverse conditions. Farmers are spending the night under the open sky in bitter frost.

Today's circumstances are such that the country is going to fight the same battle. Tripathi protested against the 27 laws of the workers, making the industrial relations code anti-worker.

He also strongly objected to the changes made by the Central Government in the agricultural laws and he said that it will only benefit Ambani and Adani only.

Tripathi said that INTUC will hold fierce agitation against it.

The General Assembly of INTUC put 17-point demands before the Prime Minister of India in the interest of the workers on the occasion in which prevention of 100 per cent FDI, giving minimum support price in the interest of farmers, making minimum wage of Rs 25000 to contract workers in institutions, stop labor migration, providing representation to workers-farmers in NITI Aayog, equal work equal pay system, implement the old pension system, to improve the economic condition of the laborers along with proper honorarium, demand for providing basic education, medical allowances and others.

Speaking on the occasion Labor Minister Satyanand Bhokta assured that if anywhere in the state any laborers do not get fair wages or labor laws are not followed, bring them to his notice.

He urged that Jharkhand State as well as the entire country Labor laws should be followed. He also spoke of all possible support to INTUC.
