A minor girl, who went missing for more than 5 hours on Saturday evening, has created sensation after she claimed that she had been abducted by a gang of kidney thieves who after abducting the children take out their kidneys.
The girl, according to the police, was missing from 4 pm to 9 pm on Saturday from near her home and was found by the police on Itki road and then handed over to the Sukhdeo Nagar Police Station on the basis of the name of the school written on her T-shirt.
“The matter appears to be suspicious as we are not getting any lead in this regard and have started investigations on the basis of the statement recorded by the girl,” said officer in charge of Sukhdeo Nagar Police Station. It could also be her imagination as discussions regarding taking out kidneys after abducting the children used to take place in her home, he said.
The girl told the police that some unidentified persons abducted her in a van and she became unconscious after she was given an injection. She was later taken to an unidentified place where some other children were also there.
She claimed the children already present there told her that they would take out her kidney and sell it in the market, but was unable to tell the police how she ran away from there and how she reached on the road.
