Principal Secretary of Personnel Department Nidhi Khare has said that the State Government has defined domicile for the residents, according to which any person fulfilling any of the six conditions would be considered a Jharkhand resident and can get the domicile certificate.
Khare has aksed department Deputy Secretary to probe in a news report where a person Jivlal Munda had been reportedly denied the certificate. During the prove it came to light that Munda had been told to apply online for the certificate through Pragya Kendra despite the Circle Office direction to him for the same. The Dy Secretary has asked to coordinate in the matter and arrange applying for Munda’s application online. He would be given the certificate from SDO office, Ranchi as per the rules.
