KB Women’s College, Hazaribagh has been selected to be developed as community college by the University Grants Commission. In the meeting of interface committee of UGC, the proposals of two colleges for selection as community college was accepted and KB Women’s College is one of them.
A few months ago, UGC had demanded proposals from the colleges registered with the commission for getting special assistance required to be developed as community college. Principal Dr Rekha Rani informed that now from current session they are going to start diploma in medical laboratory technique (DMlT) for which UGC has fixed 50 seats. Inter pass students can take admission in this course. Dr Nanda Verma has been appointed Nodal Officer of this course.
