Jharkhand Vikas Morcha has intensified its attack against the Government and BJP hiding behind custodial killing of Rupesh Swansi at Bundu, law and order situation in the State for controversy surrounding Tala Marandi, the party State chief.
The party organised a protest march up to Raj Bhawan and handed over a six-point memorandum to Governor Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday. In its demand list the Babulal Marandi-headed party alleged two Ministers in the Government for taking part in the marriage ceremony of Tala Marandi’s son.
“Ministers Amar Kumar Bauri and luois Marandi and MlA Anant Ojha participated in the marriage of Munna Marandi who got married to a minor. The leaders should be booked under prevention of child marriage act. Also, the policemen involved in the murder of Rupesh Swansi in police custody should be tried under the Section-302,” said Sunil Sahu, party’s general secretary.
The party also alleged for corruption in the ongoing beautification drive of Harmu River costing Rs 400 crore and termed the entire exercise complete eyewash. “We have been witnessing a dilly-dallying on the issues from the part of the Government. No concrete probe in being done in the Tala Marandi’s case since the Government itself is involved into it. Huge corruption is taking place in Harmu cleaning drive and drains construction works. We also demand a judicial probe into entire stay of Jainendu at the State Khadi Board,” added Sahu. The leaders also slammed the Government for its inaction against reoccurring criminal activities across the State including in the Capital.
