JPSC centre of corruption, irregularities: State BJP prez

PNS

The State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday attacked the State Government for the ongoing Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) recruitment issue. The State BJP Chief and Rajya Sabha MP, Dipak Kumar termed it as a centre of corruption and irregularities. On disqualification of 49 applicants from Sahibganj and Lohardaga centers he said it is victory of BJP and the applicants.

Prakash said that the disturbance happened in the generality, so according to rule 30, the OMR seat of all should be published. He said that FIR should be registered against those who are behind the mess. He said the Chairman can influence the investigation therefore, an FIR should be lodged by sacking the Chairman. He said that many big people are behind this mess. The entire case should be investigated by the CBI and the State Government should recommend a CBI inquiry, he added.

The party’s State Chief said that since the beginning of the episode, BJP raised its voice on the streets against this big corruption. “The party was involved in the protest of the students, but the Government did not get exposed, so it tried to suppress the voice by lathi-charging the MLA and the students. Many big leaders of Congress JMM have been supporting corruption,” he added.

“33 hundred sisters, daughters were raped in 23 months Government, the sisters and the daughters could not raise her voice in women's commission, because the Government is not forming women's commission. Chief Information Commissioner, Information Commissioner, Child Protection Commission has not been constituted whereas Jharkhand has the highest number of human trafficking cases after Maharashtra. The ruling party does not want the State Government to be exposed from these institutions,” said Prakash.

On the issue of Congress' ‘Mahangai’ Rally, the Rajya Sabha MP said that the Congress leaders have gone to visit Rajasthan, not on the question of inflation. “In the Congress-ruled Rajasthan, inflation is the worst hit. The most expensive electricity, water, petrol, diesel, the highest holding tax is collected in Rajasthan only. The Congress leaders are crying like a widow,” he added.

“Instead of reducing inflation in Jharkhand, they are busy eating the cream of power. By reducing VAT on diesel petrol, leaving the responsibility of reducing the prices, they are doing drama. The Congress has nothing to do with the common man. The State Government is an anti-people government,” said Prakash. The party’s State Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo, Amit Singh were present on the occasion.
