Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) on Sunday lauded the efforts of the State Government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren to control third wave of Corona infection in the State.

JPCC Spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey, Lal Kishorenath Shahdeo and Rajesh Gupta said that the Central Government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi only want to keep the people of the Country entangled in the targeted things. Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is constantly asking about the steps being taken by the Central Government to protect against the third wave, but instead of answering him, the Prime Minister even at present in his Mann ki Baat programme talked about only futile issues. He did not information on his preparation of third wave of infection, he added.

Dubey said that it is a reflection of the sensitivity of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and the coalition Government of the State that early preparations have begun to prevent deaths.

“At the same time, 605 children have become orphans in the first and second wave, for this Project Shishu has been started in collaboration with Jhalsa and the State Government, through which all the orphaned children and their families have been helped through various schemes. Arrangements are also being made for better education and upbringing of the children. It is the sensitivity and sincere effort of the State Government that now the orphanage in the State has been abolished and it has been asked to hand over the responsibility to the widow or widower of the village for the upbringing of the orphaned children and bear the expenses,” he added.

Shahdeo said that the initiative taken by the State Government to appoint women SPOs to check human trafficking is also commendable, this will not only check the trafficking of women and girls of the State, but will also help in stopping migration.

Gupta said that the officers should also follow the statement of the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court, Justice Dr Ravi Ranjan, In which he has appealed to provide help to the orphan children in a humble way, so that their tender feelings are not hurt in any way.
