Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is against the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and it will always oppose the saffron party, said Chief Minister Hemant Soren in Bokaro on Tuesday.
Rejecting BJP’s poll promise of bringing ‘Achhe Din’ (good days) in the country, Soren said, that the BJP has failed to check price rise despite tall promises made during elections.
During poll campaigns Modi sold dreams of good days, promised to curtail price rise but the Government’s first month marked by a sharp increase in prices, he said. “Days after coming in to power, diesel prices goes up then rail fare, essential commodities as well as food grains which directly hit the lower and middle class people”.
“Kya Yahi Achhe Din Hai. (Are these Good Days indeed)IJ” Soren asked.
Earlier the BJP which had criticised the UPA Government over the hike in diesel prices, staged protests and demanded rollback, now BJP is justifying the all price hikes after coming to power, he said.
On being asked that the dispute among the allies will affect the State Government Soren said, “Our alliance with Congress is intact. Government is not in crisis and it will complete its tenure”.
It’s only the media that is farming and illustrating ‘dispute’ among the JMM and Congress, said Soren.
