Troubled with regular attacks made by the BJP against former Chief Minister Shibu Soren’s family for allegedly violating CNT and SPT Acts, the JMM warned that they too, have proof against the BJP leaders.
Talking to media persons at the Party Office on Thursday, JMM spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that the BJP leaders will not be able to show their faces, if the documents available with them were made public. He, at the same time, stressed that they were not in the habit of hitting below the belt.
“We also have detailed proof against each and every BJP leader, who will not be able to show their faces if those are made public. We will never go below the belt, but will definitely react against the allegations made against us as the matter is at the investigation stage and we do not want to influence it,” said Bhattacharya. “First, let SIT formed in this regard reach to a conclusion, and action must be taken against all who are found guilty by it,” he added.
Bhattacharya further said that coming into power does not give you the rights for character assassination or making allegation against others. He said that the society does not tolerate character assassination.
“This is a warning to the BJP…..both investigation agency and the Government are in your hands, get the matter investigated the way you want, but don’t try to create a situation of confusion among the people. If you try to create confusion, a befitting reply will be given to you on the ground at an appropriate time,” said Bhattacharya.
The JMM Spokesperson alleged that the BJP, a party of businessmen and industrialists, has not been able to withstand the anger of the masses on CNT and SPT Acts. Bhattacharya also refuted BJP’s allegations, calling all the documents produced by them are fake.
Earlier, JMM Central Committee member Vinod Pandey alleged that the present Government had nothing to do with the welfare of the people and was not concerned with the problems of water, electricity and roads in the State.
“Incidents of theft, loot and burglary have become a common thing for the State while people are being killed in the name of cow vigilance, child lifting and banned meat. Communal tension is on the rise in the State and people are becoming enemies of one another,” said Pandey. Due to wrong policies of the State Government, farmers were compelled to commit suicide in Jharkhand, he added.
“Why such situation has arisen in the State that farmers were compelled to take such a harsh step and 4 of them committed suicide within a month,” said Pandy. He demanded that the loan of the farmers must be waived completely following the incidents which took place in the State for which a state wide protest will be launched from July 10 where dharna will be staged at each of the block offices in the State.
“The State Government has been cornered very badly on CNT and SPT Acts due to which, the BJP has been making regular attacks against the JMM chief and his son Hemant Soren. The State BJP on Wednesday had come out with documents of land deal where 1.51 acres of land piece at Govindpur in Dhanbad was illegally registered in the name of his three sons – Durga, Hemant and Basant Soren by violating CNT Act.
