JMM attacks BJP MP for disclosing confidential information

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Tuesday attacked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP, Nishikant Dubey and said that he is getting confidential information.

Addressing media persons JMM General Secretary and Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya targeted the main opposition party at the Centre BJP, Raj Bhavan, Election Commission and BJP MP Nishikant Dubey. Bhattacharya told the recent political stir in Jharkhand as a story fabricated under a well-planned conspiracy. He said that as part of the strategy, rumours were spread about the government by the opposition.

Bhattacharya said that the Election Commission is unable to maintain its secrecy. He said that the letter of the Election Commission reaches the hands of an MP and this cannot be a coincidence. He said that all the constitutional institutions of the country have been directly occupied by the BJP and institutions are losing their credibility. He said that if this had not happened, the letter of the Election Commission would not have reached a BJP MP. He said that the commission should clarify the situation.

The JMM leader said that in the past, when the UPA delegation went to the Raj Bhavan and met the Governor, a commitment was made that in two days he would send his opinion to the Election Commission. Today is the 5th day of that promise. No statement was issued by Raj Bhavan, he added. Bhattacharya said that the Governor should make public the letter written to the Commission. He said that the recent developments show that the Election Commission does all its work by asking the BJP MP. He asked whether the country had adopted the Constitution 73 years ago for this day. Was it for this day that the Election Commission came into existence in 1951?

Bhattacharya said that yesterday (Monday, September 05) the Government got the trust vote in the House. On the other hand the opposition started spreading lies. For the past several days, the rumour was being spread by the opposition that there is no unity in the alliance. Legislators are dissatisfied. A special session of the Legislative Assembly was called to confirm the same. The majority was proved. What's the trouble?
