JMM attacks BJP for raising finger on new employment policy

PNS

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Monday attacked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for raising a finger on the new employment policy of the State. The party said that challenging the new policy in the Court showed the intention of BJP.

Addressing a Press meet, JMM General Secretary cum Spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that the interest of the tribals was not in BJP’s intention and they are shedding only crocodile tears to fool people. No one has opposed the new policy except former Chief Minister Raghubar Das, he added.

“There has been a slight delay in starting the process in the appointment year, but the tribals will get the benefit of this. Those who obstruct it are anti-Jharkhand,” said Bhattacharya.

The party Spokesperson said that there was talk of giving lakhs of jobs during the Raghubar Government. Out of 927 posts of Government teachers, only 7 local aspirants from the State and rest of the people of Banaras and Bihar were given jobs, he added.

“Many fake encounters took place during the Raghubar Government, which is spiking in interest of tribal and locals, in which innocents were shot in the name of extremists,” said Bhattachrya.

The party Spokesperson said that many such names including Moti Lal Baske from  Giridih including Minhaj Ansari, Balram Mahto, Abraham Munda, Roshan Horo are in this list. In such a situation, it is surprising why the former CM is now engaged in spreading confusion among the local people of Jharkhand on the issue of the employment policy, he added.“Jobs were also distributed to outsiders during the Raghubar Government, which talked about the interests of the tribals. A total of 514 tribal youths were surrendered by the Digdarshan Sanstha by calling them fake extremists. There were more than 100 boys from the Sahu community in this. In 2014, the then State Government recommended a CBI inquiry when the then Raghubar Government came to the State. The Government gave an affidavit in the Court that his police agency would investigate. The then police officer, MV Rao had investigated the matter. Later the investigation was effected,” he added.

“In 2015, five minors were shot in the Bakoria case. There are many such cases in which the State treasury was looted under the Raghubar Government. Embezzlement took place in the name of distributing chocolates, toffees, T-shirts in the name of foundation day. Now the State Government is engaged in bringing this treasure to the fore, so Raghubar is feeling pain,” said Bhattacharya.
